Adult class and discussion -- Healing as Laughter -- beginning with Linda Richamn's video 'I'd Rather Laugh: How to be happy even when life has other plans for you.' Aired on PBS, Richman's program offers true Jewish chicken soup for the soul. She gives advice on how to handle stress, life-altering transitions and loss in a blunt, brassy, no-nonsense way with plenty of laugher mixed in. 'Linda Richman teaches us that the human spirit is always capable of laughter, even after great sorrow. She is a healer who speaks to the heart as well as a messenger of hope.' (Deepak Chopra, author of 'How to Know God.')
Rite-13 for youth. The class begins examining everyday symbols and our images of God, with the way we model Christian faith in our daily living.
