Worship Services

We gain strength and comfort through God and each other.
At St. David’s Episcopal Church, we recognize the tremendous power of prayer. Our Sunday services include opportunities for members to request special intention prayers. Our services seek God’s healing, forgiveness, and guidance. As part of our worship, we include additional prayers, scriptural readings, hymns, a sermon and the Holy Eucharist (Communion).

Music Ministry Update:
We are broadening our horizons and singing new hymns and service music in a variety of styles and from a variety of sources. We will be using settings for the Psalter from The Portland Psalter, originally for use at Christ Episcopal Church in Oswego, Oregon. These settings feature a refrain sung by the congregation and versus sung by a cantor. We will also sing a Puerto Rican folk song in Spanish, and be accompanied on a new hymn by an organ duet featuring organist Kathy Robson and Music Director Ben Carlisle. Our 'Congregation as Choir' program moves from Sunday mornings to Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.
